Meet there, walking tour. Embrace the unpredictable and unique in the much-loved suburb of South Fremantle, the West’s answer to Brighton. Famous for its early colonial history, quaint heritage-listed workers’ cottages and the best alfresco coffee going. We’ll walk South Terrace for the buzz and wander into the quieter nearby streets for glimpses of former factories & heritage buildings converted into residences. The area showcases vibrant street art with urban sculptures, epic bakeries, colourful galleries and quirky, eclectic shops. All up it will be around 3 km of walking. We’ll grab a coffee at 3 Little Pigs to start, and finish at Sealanes Cafe for a delicious Spanish Mackerel lunch (both at own expense).
Meet at Florence Park, cnr King William Street & Marine Terrace, at 9.45am for a 10am start. Parking is available along Marine Terrace or catch a bus from Fremantle Station.
