Yazmina started her 40-year crochet career by making and selling funky beanies in a Fremantle street fair in the 1980s; by 2003 she was named 'Crochet Goddess" of the Northern Rivers in Australian County Style Magazine. Inspired by the colours and patterns in natures as well as those exemplified by contemporary architecture, Yazmina has continually pushed boundaries of crochet, creating innovative garments and accessories while making a name for herself as a yarn artist. What began as a simple craft became a consuming passion, leading to commissions, magazine features and teaching workshops.
