Shorebirds are a diverse group of elegant birds, some of which carry out the most astounding migrations in the natural world. Unfortunately they are also one of the most threatened groups of birds globally. Hear about some of the shorebirds that migrate and spend the summer in the Perth region and the migratory feat they undertake every year to breeding grounds in the northern Arctic. Also learn what BirdLife Australia is doing to better understand and protect these birds.
