Dr David Cook, lecturer in Computer and Security Science at Edith Cowan University, returns to discuss the new and emerging areas of greatest concern in IT security, focusing on our everyday reliance on mobile phones. The increase in the use of text messaging by businesses is staggering, with a related change of behaviour by mobile users. David will also cover reliance on debit and credit cards, and some of the emerging trends in fraud and deception. This presentation will help in deciding what to trust and why.
