Historian Richard Offen will present a fascinating talk on the Bungalow on Hay Street, home of the explorer and politician Sir John Forrest and his wife Margaret from 1876 to 1920. He will explain how the house and gardens were transformed into a place of lavish hospitality and what life was like in Perth during the first gold rush.
