Through the graceful art of Brush painting,with Jane Lidbetter, who has lived many years in South East Asia. Jane is especially drawn to the Japanese style of Suni-e which literally translates to ink painting. One stroke of the brush says it all and it is left to the observer to fill in the blanks. Under her expert guidance, you will delicately handle brushes and discover a new way of looking at the world during this magical 5-hour workshop. Using rice paper, traditional stone and ink sticks, you will create personalised wishing cards for your family and friends. The workshop is scheduled over 2 Thursday afternoons. All materials included.
